• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2 1/2 years later, still having DPS and stalling issues...

My first issue with it was that I couldn't have it be both a brake and running light. I thought if I had it just to the brake it would be ok. It seems I would have to install a switch and manually turn it on (the draw) when I turn on the bike, and off. I figured it probably wasn't worth it...

I am often quite the fool when it comes to declaring victory on these types of issues sometimes, however I am at least a foolish optimist. It stinks having dealt with it, but sadly through this I have always loved the Spyder. The joy it brings me when I am riding and have power steering is...

2 1/2 years later, still having DPS and stalling issues...

I think I may have finally figured it out... Don't all laugh at me at once. I think it is my battery tender terminals that stay connected to the battery. I've tried having them on the battery side, on the far side of the bike's battery terminals and I've always had issues with it. I...

I have the GPS holder, Ipod, Heated grips and Stereo.(all installed by dealer when I bought it) I plug in the tender every night. It shows full every morning. I take a 20 minute ride to and from work.

My Dynamic Power Steering intermittently works, and my 2013 STS manual sometimes stalls when I pull the clutch in and are idling at a stop(usually when it is hot). I'm not sure what to do. The dealer tells me the DPS is just a low battery issue and that it is the first thing to lose power...

DPS (Power Steering) and Radio Cutting out...

It seems to be much better when I unplug the corbin trunk brake/running light. It seems Corbin's tap in wiring does not work with the Spyder. I've tried redoing it, and trying a few different ways to tap in.

DPS (Power Steering) and Radio Cutting out...

Now the DPS is out 100%, had the battery tested, it tested well. Now the DPS is out 100%, had the battery tested, it tested well(came back indicating it is a good battery). I'm not sure what my next step is. Is DPS covered under warranty? I bought it March 2013. Bike stalls, DPS 100% out...

    Baha Ron's Sway bar installation

BajaRon, I'm sure you sell an amazing product, and I'm sure it's priced reasonably well. However I have a hard time thinking I would need this. I ride fairly conservative speed wise, but love to hammer the twisties. I lean my body over the inside and can easily hammer out speeds where I feel...

DPS (Power Steering) and Radio Cutting out...

Yesterday DPS was 100% out on my way home from work. I checked the battery and it is showing high 12s in V, so the manual's reference to 11.5V and 8V, shouldn't be coming into issue here. I'm not sure what to do. Today I tried riding into work without the stereo/ipod plug in and it worked...

Code - C004B - Adjusting the Master Cylinder Rod on ST 2013

About that, once it has been "lowered" by the system what, using more? It won't go back up, right? I took a look at it, but it was hard to tell, I took the caps off and they looked full, but I couldn't see through the side where it shows the min/max on the container below the seat.

Code - C004B - Adjusting the Master Cylinder Rod on ST 2013

I'm trying to go off of what is on page 685 in the service manual to adjust the master cylinder rod. I believe I am getting code C004B after initially loosing the brake in an effort to lower the brake a bit. Now it seems I can't get rid of this code that pops up after riding a bit. I've tried...

Power Steering issue in the cold

Well I have a Battery Tender Jr on it, I just went out and switched the tender's connectors to the screw side(They weren't loose), putting the bikes connectors to the battery on the battery side. It is a bit warmer and seemed a bit better on a short ride to the bank, only acted up a tiny bit...

Power Steering issue in the cold

I'll go check, it may have started happening shortly after I attached the battery tender connector, maybe I didn't tighten it enough.

Power Steering issue in the cold

For the last few weeks when riding to work in 40 degrees or less outside, I've noticed my power steering isn't working as it normally does. It seems to just not activate which to be frank is quite scary, sometimes it is intermittent, and sometimes not at all. This situation quite dangerously...
