• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyderfest 2014

Went to our 1st SpyderFest \\ We had a wonderful time in spite of the 2 days of rain. Made some great friends and had fun riding and visiting with them. Was almost 6400 miles for us with our touring through 10 states to and from SF. Husband says too far to go again...but I'd like to just...

Who is going to SITR(Spyders in the Redwoods)

I am currently planning on it however... I am on my third person to connect with. Both others were unable to make it. I live in McKinleyville, CA by Hwy 299...which is under major construction and it is 104 - 116 enroute and in Redding, CA. For me - I need to go Hwy 101 to Hwy 20 across to...

    Traveling Miles per day

Different miles for different roads Where we live...the real Northern CA (about 350 miles north of S.F.) there is little else but two lane roads (4 lane in small areas) and mountains. We rode about 260 + miles Sunday inland...curves all the way on Hwy 36 to Hayfork, CA in the mountains and...

    Traveling Miles per day

Our last big trip Was to Springfield, Mo. We had several 400 mile days but those were mainly through the desert at 75 + miles per hour and hot weather close to 100 degrees. Stopped often and drank water and rested. On the way home, One day was 525 miles across the desert at 90 miles per...

Our Spyders gauges change each time you start them...

Thank you...I had forgotten about the mode button to start the Spyders. THANK you so much. I had forgotten that mode button. Will see if this makes a difference. Of course, I never think to look at the gauges until after I have started the Spyder. This is probably something that was...

Interesting experience in San Francisco on Spyder

Not fair Cruz'n Joe... Most are not fruits and nuts in CA although S.F certainly has more than its share...remember: S.F. is NOT Northern CA...and if most are fruits and nuts...then you bought pie and coffee for Frank and me before Spyder Fest in your little town...and we had a good visit...

Our Spyders gauges change each time you start them...

Mr. Bones got my question...I guess I wasn't clear in my question for the rest of you When we start the Spyders, without touching any buttons other than the starting of the Spyder, the gauge will always read different from the last time we started the Spyders and we have to manually press the...

    Hesitant pickup through the gears

This is probably a dumb reply but I had the same problem with my Spyder only to find out that shifting at 3,000 was causing the hesitation...I needed to rev it up more before shifting. Sometimes I still forget and have the hesitation...then the brain kicks in...again. (I didn't want to break my...

Our Spyders gauges change each time you start them...

We are on two 2012 RS 's (Semi-automatics) One time they will be on Total mileage, next time on Time, next time on something else. Is there any way to keep them on Time or do we just have to continue to keep punching M to what we want every time we start them? :dontknow:

    UPDATE: CA Motorcycle License Law

Thanks everyone for your input. Here is the latest. DMV in Sacramento says: No motorcycle license is required for 3 wheelers (which I already knew). But...to check with the Highway Patrol to see if they are stopping 3 wheelers checking for motorcycle licenses.) Hwy Patrol says they...
