• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Packed my first bag for the 6-8 week cross country trip that will begin in 12 days. I still do not trust the side saddle bags on my 2021 RTL, so I packed a took kit, jump box/air compressor combo, shop rags, and an extra quart of oil in the right side bag and locked it down. This is a...

Why is there a removable Rear fender tip on the Canyons?

I haven’t seen the rear flap on the Canyon, but I have seen many of them come unsnapped on the 2020+ RT. They should snap back in place, but many don’t. I drilled 2 holes and installed push pin type plastic rivets in mine to hold it in place. Some people have gotten frustrated and just taken...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Rode to church and then to a food truck rodeo. About 120 miles round trip

    Traded my F3 for a 2025 F3T

Nice, I think you will be happy. The F3T was my second spyder (had a 2014 RT first). The handling is great and the power to rate ratio is good too.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Washed my car, my 2 wheeler, and the wife's Spyder. It started the slowest, so that was a sign to take it for a ride. Some friends on 3 wheelers were going to a nice BBQ resturaunt in Carthage, NC, and that was all I need to hear. Got in about 130 miles round trip and stopped at one of the many...

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

Very nice write up. I got a chance to sit on a Redrock last Tuesday while having my RTL serviced, and the week before at another dealership. I have a 2021 RTL that I am about to head out on a 7,000-8,000 mile cross country trip on in 3 weeks. I also have a 2016 F3L Special Series. They satisfy...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got a new rear tire, oil change, and full service at a new (to me) dealership in Fayetteville, NC. Went to Baker Motorsports. There were 7 dealerships within a 80 mile radius of me. I have owned 6 Spyders and gotten great service from one about 30 miles away since day one. But on my first...

Is Running Diesel Oil in Your Spyder such a good idea?

This diesel oil must be some sort of miracle cure for everything. They use it on the Vmax forum, on my Ford Lightning group, and on the newer Coyote 5.0 engines in the Mustang to get rid of the "typewriter tick". I haven't tried it on any of my vehicles, but a lot of people have, and I only...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went to another open house and wellness check up at the dealership in Winston Salem, NC. Got to talk to an old friend for a while who is a Can Am Ambassador and works there doing some assembly. He rides the first Canyon (that I know of), in NC. KI got a chance to sit on them and see/talk to him...

Canyon Redrock Ride Review by Lamonster

Good to hear your review, but even better to actually see you out and about. Still praying for you brother!

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went to an open house at a dealership that was also doing free inspections and small work. Was hoping they could help me with the stuck passenger seat on my 2016 F3L Special Series. All they did was tell me they could order a new cable and make an appointment. They did however check the air...

Another Dealer Drops the Spyder Line

Performance East in Goldsboro, NC dropped their spyder line 2 weeks ago. We had an open house with free inspections scheduled for this past Saturday. Got a message that they did not renew their contract and everything was pulled. They can order parts, but no sales or service of vehicles.

    Finally got my Spyder!

Very nice looking Spyder. I have become spoiled with the SE6 transmission, but the SM6 is loads of fun. As for recalls, I think the only one for the 2016 model would be the drive pulley. There is no shaft recall on that year (I still have a 2016 F3L). You should be a lot more comfortable on that...

Water depth for fording a river for Can Am Spyder Canyon

As Raven said, this is not a 4x4 and in fact, it only has one drive wheel. I think a large part of the limiting factor will be the one wheel drive. I found that to be the problem when I tried my Spyders in the snow. The RT did better, but simply because there was more weight on the drive...

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

There are 3 different dealerships doing open house and inspections over the next 2 weekends. I am hoping one of them will have a Canyon in stock to sit on.
