• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Side panels and seat cowl

    Had the same problem keeping the gasket in place until I put some RTV silicone on the gasket to hold it to the knee pad. Now the knee pads come off with the gasket attached.

    A group of people I ride with use handcuffs to lock on helmets or lock wheel of the bike or what ever. Just the fact that they are handcuffs people leave them alone.

    Owners without problems - Rollcall

    09 Full Moon SM5 with 3240kms bought July 21st.Had the first update done,milage droped for awhile (1200kms) then back to normal 38.I am a very happy owner just wish I could have had the second update done before it snowed here.

    Software Update Poll- Please vote

    Had the update done at the 1000km check and it seems the :spyder:has lost some go,I was able to spin rear tire by just rolling on throttle prior to update, not anymore. It also seems It is using more fuel now.I have only put on about 800km since update.Thanks Lamont for all you do for us.

    Crankcase venting

    paper breakdown? I don't want to start a debate, but is the paper in a fuel filter any different from the paper in a oil filter, I'm not a engineer, just a dumb farmer. Thanks for the answers, I've been a:spyder2: owner for about 3 weeks and enjoy it and this sight very much.

    Crankcase venting

    Has anyone considered using a 3/8 in. inline fuel filter in the vent tube between the crankcase and the air box? The filter would catch the oil vapors while riding and still vent the crankcase to the air box and the caught oil would drain back to the crankcase when the engine wasn't running.
