• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Share your experiences with Performance shocks for 2023 RT's?

I'm running Elka Stage 5's front and rear on my F3 Limited since I'm a very aggressive rider and wanted the full adjustability. Definitely a stiffer ride, nowhere near as comfortable on longer rides but much more composed in the twisties. The lack of space for shocks with remote reservoirs is a...

    HowTo: Remote Garage Door Opener

That’s what I ordered a month or so ago. The Doormate 2 works well but you probably will want the aftermarket cuffs to give you more mounting options on the bars. I had to use a bolt from my toolbox since the one that came with it didn’t provide a secure enough fit to keep the base from moving...

Audio System Won't Load When Hot

I've had similar issues on my 2023 F3 Limited but I never associated with hot weather. It doesn't happen often and it's more of an annoyance to me than anything. I'll also check with my dealer on any possible firmware updates. How do you connect your audio? Hard wired through the auxiliary jack...

What's the Benefit of pairing helmet intercoms to the bike?

I think the choice is going to be personal and different for each rider. Personally, I don't believe there's any advantage or disadvantage to pairing the headsets to the bike instead of each other. I used to have my intercoms paired to my phone and then mesh connected (Sena units) to each other...

Brand new F3 - Cruise Control and Sport Mode not working.

Chiming in late to the discussion. I also have a 2023 F3L special series. I can confirm that there’s no Sport Mode but I went with a Pedal Box+ anyway so I don’t miss it. I rented an F3S for a week before buying my Limited and it had Sport mode. The owner installed a Pedal Commander so I never...

    Review: EazyRider BigBlue Spyder Jack

I bought one for my F3 Limited and I’ve been very happy with it. It was especially useful when replacing my shocks although I couldn’t use it for the rear shock since that’s one of the places to secure it on the F3.

Any Differences between Ryker's Sport Mode and Rally Mode?

Thanks folks, especially AR. That’s my assumption as well so I’m definitely making sure that if I do pick up a Ryker, it’s a model I can be happy with. I’m leaning towards the Rally mainly because of what comes standard on it (Akrapovic and adjustable dampening mainly, not to mention the ride mode).

Any Differences between Ryker's Sport Mode and Rally Mode?

Hi All, My wife is thinking about getting off the passenger seat and riding her own Spyder/Ryker. Since I already have an F3 Limited, I leaning towards adding a Ryker if she does decide to start riding on her own. Looking at the specs, I’m leaning towards the Rally but I’m curious if there’s...

New Spyder Owner Seeking Advice - which Tail-Gunner exhaust do you have on your RT?

The Can-Am Akrapovic silencer is around 22 inches not including the pipe that connects to the catalytic converter. Considering that you need a hanger for the Tailgunner to bolt onto the Spyder and the 90 degree or so bent pipe that connects to the catalytic converter, I'm not sure the universal...

    Potentially Inflammatory: Why vests?

Since I commute on my Spyder and often spend a portion of my commute in stop and go traffic, I wear a vest once temps get 80F and above. It's a trade-off between comfort and protection in my case. In cooler weather I have a couple of different jackets depending on how cold it is. I also have an...

What is everybody using for outdoor or trailering Covers?

While I don't trailer my Spyder, I bought a Geza Gear cover for my F3 Limited. I've bought their covers for all of my bikes over the past 20 years or so and I've been happy with them. They are pricey but they store in relatively little space and they do a great job of protecting my rides when I...

What do you do for Gas Splash on plastics?? New bike - damaged paint!

I keep a shop towel in my F3 Limited's "glovebox" specifically for gas pumps in case they don't have paper towels. I always wrap the nozzle in something as I remove it to keep from splashing residual fuel on the bodywork.

Any experience using these Dolly Jack's for moving Spyder?

I bought similar ones off Amazon to complement my Big Blue lift. I haven’t used them yet though, they’re still in the box.

What are you using for a keyring?

I use the a generic key ring attached to the OEM plastic sheath. I don’t like having a key ring attached to the key itself while riding because I don’t like the added weight pulling on the key over time while it’s in the ignition and I don’t want scratches from a key ring rubbing against the...

Do the 2023/24 RT Speakers sound good & loud enough?

IMHO volume and quality is subjective and up to each individual. Regarding volume, I've found setting fade to 50% or more to the front makes a noticeable difference, not to mention setting the auto volume adjust to high instead of the default medium setting. Sound quality will likely suffer but...
