• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Caution Re Naps Forgot one other suggestion--if you nap in the parking lot, put a sign on your chest or on the bike that says: I'm OK, just napping. Otherwise people stop by to help.

    Helmet advice

    Two more votes for Shoei Neotech. Also had Nolan modulars and liked them. If you wear glasses and can put the helmet on or take it off without removing your glasses, it is probably too loose. I did that for years before I got a proper fit.

    Yamaha Triple I had a 1980 Yamaha 850 triple. I really don't remember what it sounded like, but I know it was not objectionable. I'm sure it didn't sound like a diesel.
