• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I took the wheels off and took them to a local tire shop. The only issue they had was it took several tries with different collars on the computer balance. There was 3.5 ounces of weight to balance each of the Kenda's, 1oz and 1.5oz for the Formoza's.

    Loud shifting

    I was hearing the same loud clicks when upshifting so I changed the oil at 3000 miles with a full synthetic oil . It made a big difference, the shifts from 1-2 and 2-3 I get a slight click. From 3rd on up its pretty quiet. The downshifting was not an issue with mine.

    I tried pushing the shift paddle all the way to the stop and I can shift with little to no noise on more shifts. This is unlike the SE5 I had where a quick jab seemed to shift better.I guess it's me that needs some tweaking and not the Spyder.

    I think the oil change helped some, I went on a 85 mile ride Saturday and about 3400 rpm I could make soundless shifts up into 2,3,4,5th. Higher rpm would result in the upshift click. I've ridden a 2016 that was new and it shifted quietly compared to mine.

    I've tried every different rpm from 3-6000. If you know how a Harley clicks when its shifted, this sounds pretty much the same.
