• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

My first Spyder was a 2020 RTL. I had a whine noise in the 47-51 mph range but with the panels, the noise was tolerable. I traded for a 2022 F3L Limited and had same type of noise but with a more exposed engine area with the F3 design, the noise was now more audible. I now have a 2024 F3L...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

When one is riding a machine as a motorcycle, it would be rather hard to surmise the outcome if one would make contact with a moving object such as a animal. The aftermath outcome with a favorable result diminishes quickly.

Adrie have you found the root cause of your noise?

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

My advice is to keep your money in your pocket and just get more seat time in. Experience is cheap. These newer bikes are set up quite well from factory. Just learn with what you have, but, that is just me. Then, if you feel the need for some change go for it.

Screeching noise… Same as a high pitched whine???

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

At that speed range on my 2024 F3L I have a high gear whine. On my previous models it was in the 47-51 mph range. This has been an issue for years as mentioned in this forum.

Install Video of a small Safety Mod with a big improvement!

There was a thread some time back about this very issue and there was a modified button available from a member here that corrected this issue. I did get one for my 2022 F3 L and it did indeed correct the issue. My 2024 F3 L does not have this issue, so the engineers must have made a correction...

Probably a stupid idea - thinking I might go from a 2018 F3 Ltd to an RTL S2S - am I crazy and should just keep what I have?

Having had models with the older style instrumentation and now with the newer version, my vote is definitely with the newer style. Much easier to see in any weather, has more information available and looks better.

Are there LED replacements for 2024 OEM Fog Lights?

I too purchased a 24 F3L Special and have added the fog lamps. I got mine from Lamonster and are LED and came with the light switch for the console and replacement bezels to replace the louver ones to expose the lights. These are very bright. Good quality.

For what it’s worth, having both models, I prefer the F3 L over RTL for the ride/handling. Having a 2024 model, the new dash layout is really nice compared to previous models.

My 2024 S2S Seat has no strut - did BRP discontinue them?

If you own a Spyder for a little while, you will be changing the seat and rear storage lid struts real soon. The OEM struts are very much not performing parts.

A big shout out to Bajaron and his team! - sorry, long story.

These testimonials are always enjoyable to hear as they are how it once was years back that was considered normal business. Now, unfortunately they are far few.

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

As one who has an older, say pre 2020 Spyder, would upgrade to a newer 2020 or newer Spyder and may find that the bike enhancements through the years have made the bike handle better than before. More saddle time makes a difference in one’s view of how the bike performs also. Confidence building...

When, if ever, was a belt dampener factory-installed on the F3's?

Seems to me that if you have a belt harmonic vibration that you cannot put up with (even by changing the speed that it shows up at) then adjust the belt tension rather than add on something that needs to to be watched so that it doesn’t mess up your belt.
