• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 Front Sprocket Inspection

Front sprocket failure Well, my bike is now at the shop (I have a 2016 F3S). Since I have had several friends with sprocket issues, I sort of knew what to look for. My bike has just under 20,000 miles, and I had a rattling sound, with vibration. I also had a lot of rust colored dust on the...

    F3 Front Sprocket Inspection

Sprocket issues BRP needs to step up, and do a recall on F3's built in 2015 and 2016. This problem has happened all too frequently.

    Corbin bags.

I too ordered the Corbin bags for my F3 as I thought that they looked much better and had more room than the F3T bags. Also had the bag over the exhaust melt and crack. It took my dealer 3 weeks before someone in Corbin would acknowledge the problem. Finally after weeks, they replaced the...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

I also rode 2 wheels for a long time (30 years). Had everything from a Gold Wing to sport bikes, but was getting to a point where I just didn't want to "tip toe" a bike anymore. Had my share of cruisers, and did not want to go that route again. Test road a RSS at Americade, and I was hooked...

First long ride with the wife,.......seat has got to go!

I found the stock seat comfortable, but hot. Added a Air Hawk, and a sheepskin, and all is good. Ultimate, Corbin and Russell are all good companies. You just have to find one that fits your body.

    Female Riders (Stats)

I started riding in 1984, and there were very few women on their own bikes. It's been great to see that number increase over the years. I get more attention now on the Spyder than I did when I rode the Wing....

New to Spyder, but riding for over 20+ years

I have also been riding a long time (30 years), and just switched to a Spyder from a Honda ST1300. Have about 1,000 miles on it, and I'm working on getting my skill level up in the twisties. Rode a Spyder at Americade, and I was hooked. Hope to have many happy miles ahead of me. Barb:thumbup:
