• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder now in Arizona

The story has had a happy ending. Silver spyder #1171 was picked up in San Diego (Poway) Ca, from a very ethical dealer (unlike the ones in Phoenix) I did have to pay the bump up in base price but was far less than the "market adjustment" RideNow Powersports tacked on. It had a number earlier...

    Spyder Monopoly Broken in Arizona

Great news for AZ riders and want-to-be's. I have been inform by Champion Honda in Mesa, Arizona that they will become a dealer for the Spyder and will be delivering Spyders in June for those who have put the ole deposit down (lets hope so) Hopefully, this breaks the strangle hold the RideNow...

OK to knock the dealers, not OK to knock the state ;D

    Extended Warranty

http://www.brp.com/en-US/Related.Products/Extended.Service.htm tells about the B.E.S.T. warranty. I believe it also says that you can put it in place anytime while the original 2 yr warranty is still present. My dealer lied to me saying it had to be put on before the 600 mi service.

    Extended Warranty

Did anyone get the B.E.S.T. warranty when they bought their spyder. It extends the warranty out to 60 months per BRP's website. I am not sure if it was the same as the "Platinum warranty" my dealer tried to sell me. The cost in Phoenix was $2499 and supposedly covered the 600 mi stuff, oil...

    Arizona Dealers

Sad day. Got my $1000 deposit back and had to walk right past my spyder which had a big banner on it "For immediate delivery". Got to keep the jacket so if I pick up another one I'll still be in the 1st owner group.

    Arizona Dealers

I hope he takes a loss on them for being greedy. Problem is those guys own over 138 dealerships across AZ, NM TX, Fl and some other states so I doubt if it will faze them a bit

    Arizona Dealers

I took my demo ride at West World, Scottsdale, AZ in May, 07. I remember the jacket being a black jacket that was on a mannequin which also had pants. Part of the spiel was that if you put your deposit down that day, you would also be getting a jacket valued at approx $500. Since that was not...

    Arizona Dealers

You would get a number plaque for your spyder not a name plaque and jacket. But as I remember the jacket they showed at the demo ride was not the jacket they sent everybody.

    Arizona Dealers

Update: Tried to fight the good fight but RideNow Powersports mega-conglomerate won't budge. There is now another silver spyder available in Phoenix if you feel like getting screwed with the 2K mark-up. For me-it's out of state to try to purchase. Sometimes principle just has to win over desire.

    Arizona Dealers

I live in Phoenix. When did you learn about the mark-up? They swear that it was all disclosed at the demo ride at West World. Ride Now has a policy of 10% of MSRP price for the mark-up

    Arizona Dealers

A heads up for anyone in Arizona. Was told my spyder was in and when I went to pick it up was hit with a $2000 PMA (product market adjustment). Dealer swore that they disclosed this fee way back in the summer of 2007 when we were demo-ing them at West World. So far they aren't budging. They will...
