• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After input on Handlebar risers... Anyone?

I installed a 2" riser block on my '22 F3S and the results were it moved the bars towards me 1 3/4" and up about 5/8" in the lowest position. This position feels better, but I haven't had much seat time yet to see how it feels on longer rides? :)

Is It OK to Make 500 km On the First Day With a Brand-New 2023 Can-Am RT Limited?

Good to hear that you had a great ride but the blisters are more likely from gripping the grips much toooo tightly. Take the time to learn to relax your grip and open and close your hands every few minutes to prevent cramping and blisters. ;)

22 F3S Gustafson 20" windshield install with supplied brackets

Update on the Gustafson 20" windhield after 9600km/6000 miles; no problems at all. Gustafson are now called GP Cycleworks and have expanded their windshield making capabilities to include one of custom windshields if you need one.(y)

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

I have a '22 F3S that sat from late November until yesterday, and it started right up with no codes. The battery is the Yuasa YTS24HL-BS that I replaced last Spring after I replaced the Hiajiju that came from factory. I forgot to remove the lead on this battery and it turned out fine. I do not...

Is It OK to Make 500 km On the First Day With a Brand-New 2023 Can-Am RT Limited?

Follow the BRP guidelines and enjoy the Spyder. I like to vary the RPM during this period by downshifting or upshifting every few minutes so that the RPM is not constant for a long time. Since your machine is new its possible the battery is not fully charged so if you have a small charger hook...

PedalBox and Pedal Commander - what do they do and how do they work?

Well it seems to me that you can accomplish the PB feeling by using more wrist, which is free, just a matter of getting used to if that is how you like to ride. JMO I prefer the stage 2 MFI tune in the standard mode; it provides a good throttle response as well as a nice increase in performance...

BrpGo cable connection - would a wireless CarPlay adapter work? Anyone tried it?

MY 2022 F3S has no glove box nor a USB port anywhere on or above the dash. I can't help you with the connection since I don't connect a phone to the bike. ;)

5 MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOTORIOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN

Most of the VSS faults appear when starting the Spyder and are nothing more than a battery that can't maintain sufficient starting voltage. My battery was replaced on warranty and I lost cruise control for a while but this was also repaired under warranty. Other than that 1 1/2 years of riding...

Weird Spyder Behavior this afternoon - sudden power loss & 'bucking'! Any ideas?

The battery test shows that you have a battery that is rated at 300 CCA and only put out 287 CCA. The correct battery is supposed to be 350 CCA so (as mentioned above) it is possible that this battery does not provide enough CCA to prevent your starting voltage from dropping far enough that it...

Just FYI - an alternative supplier for Ryker Clutch Parts!

I got an email this morning that epiperformance will be carrying parts and tools for the clutches, as well as belts, etc. I have the EPI clutch kit in my Defender SxS but do not own a Ryker. FYI. www.epiperformance.com

Multiple Faults and VSS Message when trying to start - any ideas?

If the battery is still under warranty you should get it load tested asap, if the dealer will replace the battery they will want to replace it with another Chinese one, I was able to get a Yuasa as a replacement by paying the small difference in cost between the two. FYI

Multiple Faults and VSS Message when trying to start - any ideas?

If it is a battery issue. than you should charge it until full with a smaller battery charger, the battery tender may not be able to recharge a discharged battery. Check your battery and see if its a Yuasa or the chinese version? Seeing the VSS flag when attempting to start usually points to a...

Looking to get a new '23 F3 S Special Series - what windshield & longer footboards?

Check out Gustafssons plastics, they have a selection of tints and lenghts of windshield, I made my own floorboards and the description is in the DIY section if you are a handy type of guy. Good luck with your build.

Review: Monster Fuel Stage 2 Flash - inc video

Had my 22 F3S out yesterday, 55°F, and it pulled very strong at 4000 RPM and up. I never accelerate WOT off the line until I reach at least 3500 RPM and shift at 7200 +/- and it is super responsive. I left my rev limiter at stock, since the torque starts dropping off quickly after 7000 and the...
