• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    R/H saddlebag won't open

The rains have hit for a few days so I'm at a stop on the door. Gonna try the back plastic next. Other ideas didn't do it. Thanks all....

    R/H saddlebag won't open

"If the above don't work--time to see the dealer. Mine did that too. It required a cable adjustment to fix the latches" So how did they get to the cables? Most the screws are hidden because of the lid being closed - can't remove the needed plastic.

    R/H saddlebag won't open

All good ideas - I'll try them. What I'm afraid what happened is that my jacket liner was in there and got caught in the latch, keeping it from releasing.

    Front brake pad retainers

.:gaah:Like some before me, I broke two spring retainers on the pads of my front brakes. Will try to make some tomorroww but I've not been really handy at that. Does anyone knows of someone who makes these aftermarket now. It really upsets me that BRP does not sell these as spares. I know on...

    Switched to a Spyder

Hi! Dan Here. Traded my 950 Vstar with a Voyager conversion for a 2011 Spyder RT. Voyager was too hard to steer for an old man like me and rode too rough. Liking my Spyder and the ride is great - still getting used to the handling - rode 2 wheels for over 50 years so it's a big change. Did...
