• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    900 Ryker Loose Front Wheel

Was riding and heard a new "clicking" sound from the right front wheel area. Stopping and inspecting showed the wheel nut was loose. I nursed it home a couple miles and called my dealer. (Maxim Powersports, Merrillville Indiana. Great Folks) They send a tow truck out the next day and took...

    Ryker Hangers

Added 15” hangers to my 900. Full disclosure, the steering is less responsive. It steers just fine but I will be less aggressive in my cornering. Also my hand guards do not fit as the bar bends are different. Those two drawbacks aside I live the hangers. Great ride position and very comfortable...

Panel Rattle, Parking Break Rattle, Etc.

500 miles, no rattle no pop and no squeak. I have noticed some negative commnets about the Ryker, usually from folks who don't own one. At the end of the day they are hotrods and as such they are not expected to be luxury sedans. I am having so much fun riding the thing I don't notice...

    Ryker Windshield Bulletin

Update: Spoke with my dealer yesterday. As soon as I told him who I was (I bought two Rykers) he laughed and said, "I was just talking to the salesman to get your number. I ordered replacement parts and the washers for you, I'll call as soon as they come in." No charge and a fun learning...

    Ryker Windshield Bulletin

If you have not already installed a windshield and broken the tabs, an update is available with the dealer saying to use 2 washers on the mount tabs so as not to break them off by bending them inward as you tighten the screws. I broke tabs on both of the windshiels before I realized why....I...

    Ryker Issue Alert!

Thanks for the information. My dealer said to check the final drive. Now I have checked both gearbox and final drive on both machines. Added as needed and am ready to go. For those checking the final drive. A round end 8mm allen will allow for easy enough access with the wheel turned to an...

    Checking final drive

8mm ball end allen socket (full set from Advanced Auto for $29) Spin the wheel to allow access. It is snug but not tight against the wheel. Pull the plug and add the recommended final drive lube until it just starts to run back out of the hole. Re-install the plug. I used a small syringe to...
