• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First ride after adding seat gel hoping for more comfort, but nope, no change! What to do? Anybody made theirs better?

Another vote for the Wilda$$ air cushion. I went through many different options. An important key is to not overfill it. You want just enough air to where your butt doesn't bottom out on the seat. You ride "in" the cushion, not "on" it.

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

Doesn't the F3 have a shutter system like the RT? I thought the bulb was a constant, and either top half is covered or not, and the "brights" switch just moved the shutter?

Anyone other than BRP make a 2024 F3S Windshield? If not, why?

There was a vendor next to SpyderExtras at the Spyders in the Delta rally in May 2025 selling wider and taller windshields. Spelunkung through their Facebook page, looks like maybe F2 Customs: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1118640763613420&set=pcb.1118640993613397 Edit: F4 Customs...

How do I get the key mechanism out of the side bag latch?

I assume to rekey it you have to get the barrel out, which would entail removing the mechanism, which then would then not need the locksmith?

Anyone tried replacing bad foam on inside of tupperware/panels? What's best to use?

I think you'll find that helps, but not very much. The foam is disintegrating, so the only thing you can hope to pull on is the very thin plastic backing with the original adhesive on it. In some cases, mine did hold together and would peel up, but mostly, no. YMMV

Anyone tried replacing bad foam on inside of tupperware/panels? What's best to use?

Plenty for just those two panels. Have some left over.

Anyone tried replacing bad foam on inside of tupperware/panels? What's best to use?

Best of luck. BTW, first, I scrapped off everything I could with a putty knife. I do recall one section being loose, and I could simply peel it away, adhesive and all, which was nice. Feel free to DM me if you want. I think I may have pics around, maybe in the "What did you do to your...

Anyone tried replacing bad foam on inside of tupperware/panels? What's best to use?

I have, and used this along with Air Condition duct silver tape: So far so good: https://a.co/d/0fWzZen (July 2024). I only did the two "knee panels" (the ones under your knees; one of them covers the oil filter). Note, it is a pain to remove the old stuff! Goo gone and mineral spirits...

The oil plug - Murphy showed up today.

I know this is an old thread, but seems like a good place to ask: The last oil change, I changed out to the magnetic gold plugs. I tightened them to spec (18 & 16ft/lbs IIRC, which felt too light, but I trusted the process, and had no leaks). When I did my most recent oil change, both plugs...

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

Try lowering the PSI a couple lbs in the fronts. 18-19 PSI is my sweet spot. Made a big difference for me.
