• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I'm in Bartlett Tennessee and the dealer near me is FRS Powersports. I called another dealer in Olive Branch, MS which claim to have the parts but only have one tech and many bikes in line for service. When I look at their reviews, I'm just not sure I want to take a chance with them.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I could drop it off and not be able to ride it for months, but who wants to do that?!

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I went to my dealer last Sat and was told they still can't get parts. They supposedly have several that have been waiting 4 months. He took my info to see if they could order the part then call when it comes in. He was supposed to call and let me know if that is an option but he never called me...

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

Update: Bought a used Parking Brake Motor with the newer part number from the TSB. It works perfectly now. I guess it's time to ride again!

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

Well shoot... I enjoy riding it to work, even if it's just two miles there and back at the end of the day. If it hurts the Spyder riding short distances, couldn't the same be said for driving my car to work? It never gets up to operating temperature either! I might need to start walking or...

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

I've done a few tests, I checked battery voltage and it's at 13.2 volts. I still need to put it under load to test. I also tested power from the parking brake switch to the motor and I get a little over 12 volts each way I manipulate the switch, so I know the power is getting to the parking...

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

Thanks for the tips. I actually didn't ride it too far before my surgery. I'm usually just riding it to and from work and that is about 4 miles round-trip. I will occasionally ride it 20-30 miles on the weekend. I'll get this battery tested, and do some more testing on the brakes as well to see...

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

You're right, I was probably not running it long enough to get a good charge. I'm picking up a tender today and I will get the battery charged back up to see if it will release. I appreciate your response, I think I'll take the recommendation and chock mine as well when parking in the garage...

Parking Brake not working after storage - could this be a low battery? Anyone else?

This may have been addressed previously, but I'm not running across a thread for it. I had hip replacement and haven't ridden my 2018 F3-S in about a month and a half. The first time I started it (thinking I'd let the battery charge) the parking brake released and I was able to roll it forward...

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I scheduled an appointment a month ago to drop mine off next week but the dealer told me to call one week out from the appointment to see if they could get the parts. When I called he stated they haven't received any of the recall parts they've ordered and had two or three bikes just sitting in...

After advice on purchasing Slingmod's armrest for a 2024 S2S?

Does anyone know if they make a telescoping armrest kit for the Spyder F3? I installed the OEM armrests but they seem really tall when I have no passenger. It would be nice to lower them when no passenger is onboard.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

That was my assumption as well. How could they deny a recall if I'm within mileage limits, regardless of it being ridden or not?!

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

My post stopped short of finishing my thought there. I'd assume the pulley has been replaced but the recall for the output shaft is still showing that it needs to be done. I checked with the dealer and they said I'd have to drop it off and them order the parts. However, they had one in service...
