• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hi Flo Oil Filter

Find a service department staffed with people who know what they are talking about. I too have a Hiflo filter on my 2014 RTS. Used the appropriate Hiflo filter on my 2011 RTS too. The computer could care less. Hiflofiltro makes 'em for K&N by the way.

    Elka shocks

Check the Elka warranty. I believe they require a yearly rebuild for Elka to honor it should one fail. Had 'em on my 2011. Glad they didn't fail.

    Screen goes out

My 2011 RTS did that once in a while particularly when starting. The culprit was loose battery connections. Be worth making sure they are tight which is much easier to do on a '15!

    Refueling question

Knowing the year would be helpful. The v-twin will lower the volume in the tank quicker than the triple. FWIW, lower the end of the nozzle an inch or so into the tank and fill until it shuts off. I round up to the nearest dime but that's just me. Like Bob said you'll get the hang of it.

    lights ?

It's the curtain. Pull up to a wall as your friend has done and switch on the high beam which does nothing more than raise the curtain. That's the clunk you hear when you do so. The curtain also accounts, IMHO, for people in front of you thinking you are flashing your lights at them. I've had...
