• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

From Harley to Spyder RT Limited

I recently sold my beloved '99 Harley Softail and bought a 2014 RT Limited. My wife and I were going to lunch to celebrate my birthday and just happened to stop at the Can Am dealer on the way. We went in only to look around. After 20 minutes of visiting with the salesman, my wife was in love with it. We went on to lunch with my wife looking at the brochure through our meal. After we ate, we went back and made the purchase. I got it home on 11/18. I finally got to take it out last weekend due to the weather. After a 300 mile Saturday ride, I am not looking back. What a fun ride. Amazing how fast I got used to no clutch, no hand brake and keeping my feet up at stops. The only negative is, this thing wants to speed. I will learn to hold it back. Looking forward to warm weather.

Did the same almost

Like your story. I switched from 2 wheels to the spyder in October and love it as well. You're right about it wanting to go quickly. My wife couldn't ride the 2 wheeler due to her MS but she loves the spyder as do I. Have over 1100 miles on it so far and like you and all the others, waiting for better weather. Have fun.

Hope some of my HD friends read your story. Did same thing you did but did it back in 2010. Now on my 3rd RT. Still find 'em awesome:yes:

Welcome

Welcome and congrats:clap: I never owned a 2 wheeler but I've had my 13 RT-S for a year now and can't wait to get it on the road at every chance.

My wife couldn't ride on my Harley due to her back. She is really excited about getting to ride again. It does look nice in my Harley garage. Sedalia MO Pettis CO Courthouse.jpgNew Book.jpg

I was riding a 2010 Harley Ultra Limited which I put 30K miles on prior to purchasing my 2014 RTS. No regrets for me either, especially when I'm sitting in traffic! I can't wait to take some trips with my newly acquired 622 trailer in tow.:doorag:
