• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderLovers Banner Run!

The banner is like the NHL's Stanley Cup where every member of the winning team gets to take The Cup home for a day or two. Every member of the SpyderLovers team should get to take it to their neck of the woods for signing by other Spyder owners and a nice little ride or lunch / dinner event. :ohyea: I'm sure that can happen and, in the course of making it happen, it'll probably criss cross the US a couple of times.

So I was thinking.......

Would I be a little late in saying maybe we should try to get the banner back to LaMONSTER before his California run. I see alot of opportunity there. Or did this already come up? Sorry, if it did and I'm repeating something.

Patty,
That would be great if you and Evan could make it to the Falls. I would love to meet you both. It should be a nice time for everyone.

photos...

OK, I'm thawed.

As I wrote to ddeyle, the daughter's tough (so is the son--recall he rode through rain and then intense heat + humidity for two days last summer), Me--I'm just silly. (Stupid? :dontknow:)

Anyhow...

Pics 1 & 2: One of the many rooms in tatt2r's awesome Dragon's Lair studio.

Pic 3: It got down to 32 degrees for most of the ryde home + brutal wind. The things we do for love--of The Banner (and The Sharpie).

Pic 4: Outside Brattleboro, VT on the way to Salem, NH. Didn't see any that day.

Thanks again for the hospitality and stories, tatt2r. A wild day, all in all. :coffee:

(P.S. HDX, RoadDog: I think the ink in the Sharpie froze.)

I'll bet it was.... Wish I was there

The Dragon's Lair is like a museum: a story behind every artifact--right down to the restroom and the coffee cans...!
