EZ Pass is not mandatory. But if you don't like doing at every yolk booth they are great. I have one for whenever I might end up back there.
I hate auto correct. Doing should be stopping, and yolk is toll.
You should call and ask when they're moving to what TX has... it's a sticker with a transponder in it. You can easily attach anywhere on the Spyder and it's non-obtrusive - even on the backside of the start-up card on the dash!!

I can't believe all the government rubbish you East coast guys have to stick on your Spyders !! :yikes: I thought California was bad!!
This coming from someone in a state that you can't even pump your own gas in? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
I'd move before having some punk kid scratch up any of my vehicles putting gas in them.
.
Funny thing I've noticed about that. Every time I've gassed up the Spyder, the attendant just handed me the nozzle and left me to pump my own gas. I guess they don't like dealing with a gas tank under the seat.

I just find it crazy that Oregon and New Jersey don't let you fuel your own vehicles. :banghead:

A brief history of that law in New Jersey: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/20...you_cant_pump_your_own_gas_in_new_jersey.html

I think the no self service laws are crazy, but I have never had an attendant in either OR or NJ actually attempt to fill a motorcycle I am riding. They always hand it to me, but they won't let me swipe my own credit card.
What I could not figure out is if the law is for "safety" how is one attendant at a service area watching four pumps at once any safer than me filling my own tank.
Yes, the motorcycle issue was put to bed several years ago, but I don't mind having someone else fill my truck's tank. Keeps the high prices employing folks - WA, which has no attendants has gas prices as high as ours, and CA is HIGHER...
But then, we have no toll roads, no toll bridges - do have three toll ferries in the state - and no annual inspection sticker required by people that know nothing about bikes....
