I have been in contact with Scotty and I am pretty certain he won’t be returning in the short term but I think with time he may be back.

Perhaps if you are in contact with him again, you could pass on to him that very many of us really do appreciate his knowledge and input and would like to continue being able to learn from his experience. There are many great characters on this site who are quick to help out with information but we would be poorer without his input.

Agree with the "would like him back" people. He is very informitive and a nice guy in person and on here. I have never "heard" him say anything, that did not need to be said at that time.
If he has a personal problem with something else, I wish him the best of luck in getting resolved to his satisfaction.
In any and all case, I wish him the best of luck in all he does.

Do you remember just recently the post by a member whose spyder went up in flames. Within that thread I thought that Scotty made mention something to the effect...... That's it for me (in reference to accusations being thrown around).

I can't seem to find that post; so, I'm not sure if the OP of that thread had that thread removed.

I remember the post, took great interest in what Xspyderlover zrc had to say about his bike catching on fire, his girlfriend jumping off with some road rash and the bike a total loss with iffy insurance I believe. About 20 members here wished them both speedy recovery, prayers and someone asked what the cause was and that it might have been caused by something he had just done to the bike,…then the conversation switched from the op, accusing him of trying to kill his girlfriend, how dare they! That he received possibly bad advice and it was, without saying so their fault. Nancy'stoy Scotty chimed in that in his previous thread on the assistance with a heli-something had to be done precisely exact and to(blah blah blah-) to me as I don't know how to work on my spyder, just put gas in it Scotty ended his comment by saying, "well I guess this is goodbye then" I took it as not nancy'stoy saying so long, but just goodbye to zrc receiving advice from him on this forum.

This is what irks me is the guy who turned the wrench or drilled the hole in his bike not taking responsibility, and you know why? cuz people, (me included) can't/won't admit when they are wrong.:banghead:

Also remember bajaron chiming in and then Lamont says he received a request from zrc to close his spyderlover account, and Lamont asked us to say a few kind words to zrc/tito/rick to ask him to reconsider. And we did! Flamingobabe urged him to stay,as well as others. But what stuck out in my mind was how eloquently Rattigan_Roger put such a neutral well spoken and thought out request to not blame us or himself, I quoted what he said, but alas it was lost when the account was closed. I wanted to keep it for the next time when someone's feelings are hurt and they want to pick up all there toys and go home. I also remember Jerbear making reference to pro10's beef last year, and I was away on vacation July of 2013 so I just had to go back and read the thread referred to, and I gotta tell you that was some fun reading, In a nut shell, he said the heat on an RS would melt the brake reservoir thingy and that would result in no brakes to stop---and eventually death. And since he has a 30+ year background he knew that the fixes mentioned here were band-aids because of radiation and convective ovens and ( blah blah blah) interesting stuff…….anyhow I digress……… anyhow in a nut shell pro10 did not delete his account, just stopped logging in as he is one of the 800+ guests that read without logging in. Of course if you delete your account you can still be a guest, however you both miss out on all the live chat that is on here.


So now back to Where is Scotty AKA NancysToy?

Here is my take...
I have PM'd Scotty quite a few times in the last few weeks on things related to my bike. He is always more than willing to help. He mentioned that he is swamped with things related to him and Nancy building a house(nearly complete), moving and preparing his next house to sell. He uses SLs to escape from all that. But...when it becomes, let's say "not so much fun", it is easy to walk away for awhile...

In the meantime he will be missed!! He has made my time owning my bike more fun and less expensive.
