Daytona 09 update

We had a great turnout for our first SpyderLovers meet in Daytona. I didn't get a good count but it was over 20 for sure. Folks were so excited that a lot of them got there early.:2thumbs:

We rode from the Hess station over to the Spyder tent and was well received by the Spyder Team and all the new potential SpyderLovers. It was a great time to look at mods and just get to know a few of the members. Everyone was very nice and I can see some great friendships being forged through this event.:doorag:

From there we rode to the Corbin tent and a few wallets got a little lighter and a few credit cards got a little hotter.

From there we all split up and went out own way. I grabbed lunch with a few SpyderLovers and then headed over to Magic Mans trailer and hung-out there the rest of the day, Got to meet more SpyderLovers there and even got to help Evan install a couple sets of risers. :thumbup:

We had some bad weather Sunday morning but it looks like it's going to be a great week ahead. It did turn a little chilly so bring a jacket.

Here's a few pics from the meet. We did start the Spyderweb too and I hope to hand it off to another SpyderLover next Sat. so we can get this moving across the country.:thumbup:

Great Pictures. Wish I was there. Woke up to wind chill of 1 today, but the snow is somewhere else and not here.

Hey, where are all the youngsters? Is it really true that most Spyder owners are 50 and up? I know the Spyder will keep ya young, but I figured there would be more age diversity...then again, many going to Daytona might be able to get off of work more easily or be retired...this would make the group look more mature. All them Spyders and their ryders do look rather dapper though!
