• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bryans toasted Spyder

Thought others overseas may be interested in Bryan's story- he was a victim of the recent Victorian bushfires.. I uploaded the photos for the Australian site and thought I may as well share.

"We were fortunately utilising the Hoyts Cinema air conditioning system when the blaze came through. Lost the house, pets etc., but my fiancée and I are ok. Melbourne Seadoo were great - did me a great price on a new 2008 Spyder with phantom kit, free helmet and discounted accessories.
Bryan."

I'm so very sorry to hear about your losses. I can't imagine. The important thing is that both Bryan and his fiancee are OK.

Sorry to hear about your devagtation & losses!! will keepyou in our prayers:thumbup: godspeed recover & A brighter future

Thank goodness there are no human casualities...

Behind that, it's horrible to lose your pets...I'd be sooo depressed if something happened to my PWD.

As far as the Spyder goes, they make more and that's easily replaceable.

So sorry for your losses but you did get a new Syder out of it - every cloud has a little silver lining - good luck and we're glad you all are okay.

Sorry to hear about your losses, but on the other hand glad everyone came out ok. Everything else can be replaced.

My words can't even express.
What Brian and his Fiance and many other families are going through down under there right now

That is the saddest looking thing I have ever seen.

But it is just a thing and they can always make more and better ones. As long as everyone is alive and healthy to enjoy it.

That is sad, especially the part about losing his pets. For me, that would be a much more devastating loss than the Spyder.
At least the Spyder is being replaced and Bryan and his fiancee are okay.
Best wishes to Bryan.
Bruce

Very sorry for your loss. As someone who has went through a house fire, To heck with the Spyder, and even the house. They can be replaced, just hope you had good insurance. But the loss of your pets, at least for me, is something you never get over. Been almost 4 years. I got a new house, better than the first. But my pet is still gone, and can't be replaced. My prayers go out to you.

Sorry about their losses, good to know they're okay. Things can be replaced, my prayers for them.

Material things can be replaced. Pets, such as the three schnauzers that we have, sometimes seem more like kids than dogs. That loss would be very hard on my wife (and me).

Very sorry for your loss. The :spyder2: pictures are also not so easy to look at.
