• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello Spyderlover friends.....

We just upgraded to the 2014 Spyder RT Limited :ohyea:-- it was delivered last night. Even though we live in Minnesnowta, we can still dream of rydin' it! Hopefully this spring will be better than the 2013 spring that kept snowing into May. Rydin' season will not start soon enough!! We loved our 2012 Spyder RT Limited and put over 7600 miles on it in 2013. For those of you that are interested in the VIN, not even close to one of the first ones....we're in the 900's.

Looks like I'll need to update my signature on this forum! (just updated 1-24-14)...

Anyways, please meet our new addition! (I will get better pics when the sun is out and warmer weather). If you look close, you'll see the frost on my garage door. Man....it's been a cold year here! :yikes:

:agree: Bob, I hope you get your bike soon! We just got the call and the dealer set it up quickly this week.....it's been on order since December. Best wishes for your bike to come in soon!

Nahhh... it's cool!
It just gives me a little bit more ammo to use when "discussing" this with the dealer, and BRP...

But Thanks!! :D

Bob

Yes, you are right! :agree:

Someone is going to get a very nice 2012 RT Limited -- we really take good care of our vehicles and that Spyder was a great ride. We put some great aftermarket items on it too.

Thanks for your comments!

You're probably having better weather than us !! LOL

:congrats: on your new ryde. I see you have it parked next to the snowthrower. You just have to love Minnesota. :roflblack: I spent twenty years in Duluth and see they are back to their old timey winters.

Sorry to hear your still waiting. For what its worth--me too, but I knew mine was going to be March or April delivery. Your case is different.

Weather here today mid 40's again. My driveway is about 1/4 melted and my road to freedom about 1/3 melted. A couple more days of this and I may actually get the black widow out for a spin. Never before in late January. Time will tell.

You are observant! I purchased this Honda HS50 snowblower new in 1983 when living in South St. Paul, MN....it has travelled with us during our relocations to KY (neighbor thought it was a tillerroflmao), IA, PA, SC, and then back to MN. Starts on the first pull. We take good care of our machines (this one has lasted over 30 years)!! Unfortunately, used it a lot this year in the fun state of Minnesnowta. Forecast for this coming Monday and Tuesday is 20 below at nights and "highs" around 10 below....we're running way under the average this whole month! UGH....

 Praying for an early spring......

Here's a better pic of the snowblower with my new bike in the background. I hate to admit it, but I do wax my snowblower occasionally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You never put a "cab" over it; for when the wind kicks up, and Mother Nature wants to tussle with you??
We bought a Troy-Built four years ago (Honda-engined!)
5hp, 24" small unit that would be easy to handle...
The very FIRST time that the Missus got her paws on it; she was hooked!
Until the wind kicked up... :yikes:
That afternoon; I was busy EBaying her a cab for it!! :roflblack:
