• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help me build a SpyderWeb across America!

I will come get it in the Midwest this July and haul it back to the West Coast if you would like. I plan on making a Southeastern states ride in July. Yeah I know it will be hot.

ahem,

what about us in Canada:( (west coast) I will be travelling to Cali a couple of times and hopefully bring it north of the border:clap:

And I'd love to have it brought to Vancouver Island. I'm sure Crazy Canuck and I could be persuaded to ryde to Alberta to pass it off on it's trip east across Canada.

This was cool idea on a site I use to run. What they did was create a banner with the club logo on it and the idea was to hand off this banner to members in the club all over the U.S. It wound up making it all over the world but it started in America.:doorag:

This is how it will work for us. I will start the banner here in East Tennessee (SpyderLovers Home Base). I will then take it all the way down to Daytona for Bikeweek. If you want to meet me along the way and ride some I will get a picture of you with the SpyderWeb Banner and you can sign the banner as being part of this web. Each member will do the same thing when they have the banner.

I'll hand it off to someone who is willing to get it heading to the tip of FL (The Keys) and then head north with it.

I would like to cover as many states as I can in a years time and at this same time next year give it to BRP as a token of our dedication as SpyderLovers.

I'll setup a board and a map just for this event so you can see where the SpyderWeb is at any given time and volunteer to carry it on. This is all about the ride and it will be a kick to see how far we can move this banner.

If you think you would like to be a part of this please let me know. If you think it's a waste of time I may just have to do it by myself.:D

Sounds like a great idea to me Lamont. If you or someone else gets to Pensacola area in the panhandle of FL. I would be willing to assist. We have several :spyder2: in the area and are trying to organize a ryding group. I am sure the NWFL/SoAL Spyders would love to sign the banner and pass it on.

+1 Me too.

Well thats 3 from the panhandle. I was thinking about treking it down to Daytona on my Spyder this year.

Lamonster, which way are you coming down from TN to Daytona?

Not sure yet but I'll post something as soon as I figure it out.

Yes, we have to get photos of it, everywhere it goes, kind of like the traveling gnome or SpyderBear. You know, as Scotty said, the Michigan folks will do their part, heck we can even smuggle it through to those Canadians next door and back out the other side to the east coast. It would be nice if we had some kind of plan and network. Kind of a starting point and where to go next.
