• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wraps and Pete

Check out one of our sponsors, Power Sportwraps. Pete's a great guy to work with...

It is interesting that you would say that. I myself was looking for a wrap for my ST-L. The site clearly states that they will make custom wraps, so I reached out to Pete as he was recommended to me via the GOS site. Much to my surprise the e-mail that I received back from Pete was one word "No". No explanation, no I am sorry I can not help you, nothing just "No".
So I reached back out to the ladies on GOS with this information and found that MANY of them had experienced the same lack of customer service from Pete that I did.
The feeling is that he really is not open to "custom" wraps unless he can reproduce them again (no longer custom, right?). The question even surfaced if his reputation had gotten so large that he has forgotten the foundation of how he got there. Regardless the message was clear, Pete is failing miserably at providing customer service to those who are looking for something special.

I am sure there are plenty of people out there that have received amazing service from Pete, and I am happy for all of you, but it appears that Pete's attitude and lack of customer service is starting to spread in the GOS and perhaps now the SpyderLovers community. :chat:

I had Pete do some "Custom" stuff for my old ride... He had to purchase the design, and then make it work for my application. For that level of effort; it woul only seem reasonable, that he'd want to be able to offer it to other.
And there are at lease three other bikes out there with "my" design...
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! :D

Ok lets try not to Hi-Jack this thread. It was a simple question as to what you would like to see for decals for your ride(s) not wraps. As I am just doing a little research to see what people would like.

I found these on the Internet using google searching for "spider decals". I don't remember the name of the company but one should be easy to find.PB090056.jpgPB030038.jpg

Got a few tats on my bike...

This on the front on my Madstad bracket mount (I ain't Danish, they're my initials-- helps me find my bike :joke:):

I have left all my :spyder2:'s plain. Have never been a fan of putting decals on any of my vehicles. Have no problem with others doing it. Have seen some very nicely decorated :ani29:'s.
