Just checking to see what kind of interest we are going to have this year for the Barkley Lake ride.. This years ride will be the first weekend of OCT.. I have planned it for this weekend because of the Kuttaw Harvest / BBQ on Barkley Festival. Here is a preview of last year video an what you can expect..

Friday night the 4th 6:30 pm we will have our meet an greet dinner at Oasis Bar an Grill located just off I24 exit 40 in Kuttawa.. Be sure to be there.. There is gonna be some nice prize giveaways.. Then that saturday morning our ride will leave the Oasis as usual at 9:am SHARP.. We will ride over to the Kentucky State Pen an the head on up through Eddy Creek an into Cadiz Kentucky.. From there we will head over towards LBL an back down through to end up in Grand Rivers.. This year we will stop below Barkley Dam an then back to Old Kuttawa for the parade, motorcycle show, BBQ an music.. I will start adding all the names here below this thread.. Last year we had a great turn out an hope this one will be even better.. I will be checking with the local Days Inn motel an see what I can do about group rates.. I am sorry to say but I wont be including Buzzard Rock this year.. They have made me promises the last 2 years for certain bands an other things, then changed things up at the last moment.. I AM SORRY TO DAY THAT THERE HAVE BEEN SOME MAJOR CHANGES TO THE KUTTAWA HARVEST FEST / BBQ ON BARKLEY.. I HAD A MEMBER HERE SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE SAYING THAT THE BBQ FEST WAS GONNA BE IN SEPT THIS YEAR.. WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?? AFTER DOING SOME CHECKING ON THE WEB, I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE SAME DATES THAT THIS PERSON HAD GIVEN ME.. (MY STOMACH WENT INTO MY THROAT) I CALLED THE MAYOR OF KUTTAWA AN ASKED HIM ABOUT THIS AN HE CONFIRMED IT.. I ASKED WHY I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE CHANGES MADE AN WHY IT WAS CHANGED FROM THE FIRST WEEKEND OF OCT.. HE SAID THAT HE DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT BEING THAT THIS WAS THE FIRST YEAR THAT WE WAS GONNA BE INVOLVED..

We picked up our new ST-S yesterday and might bring it up this time. But then again we might just ride Great White as it is a little bit more comfy.

Either way we are pumped and ready and starting to pack our bags. LoL
