• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ???

If you have a compressor. Let some air out of the rear.......down to 10 lbs or so, and ride the log. nojoke

If no compressor.....take her out a few feet and see how you feel......slow is the word.

If I wanted on the other side, that's the way I'd tackle it..........:roflblack:

The Log ???

when you look at the picture on the left notice the log is about
2 feet lower than the 2 stripes .... the planks are 36 in total ea.
made up of 3 12" wide planks if I go all the way left or right the rear
wheel will still fall in the center.

2 feet lower :gaah:

Well then,,,,,,,,,whatcha gonna do? :doorag:

If the cabin has a front and back door. Pull the pins on the doors and go across one door at a time :roflblack:

Only have..!!

the pictures to go by but looks like you can go front wheel to the far left/right putting the rear wheel on the edge of the iron center edge. I could do that...!! What did you do..?? :dontknow:

OMG.... I have been there and that was like 15 years ago!
I cannot believe that bridge is still there....

FYI, We love Lasson. Enjoy yourself!

Bob

Go to the woods and find a few 2" diameter logs and lay them end to end on the center log to build up the center to be level with the sides. Go slow and you should have no problem.

Raising the center log and packing it to bring it level with the deck is a possibility, except you'll need leverage to lift it. The log looks as tho it's been put there especially for three wheelers, maybe as an afterthought. I hope you're going to tell us how you managed to get across... My wife says to play it safe, leave the Spyder on this side of the bridge and carry your essentials 3/4 mile to the cabin. :sour:

I kinda thinks your stuck.

A piece of 3/4" plywood that is ripped to overlap from one side to the other... Just keep picking them up and laying them down... Who is your passenger? Could they ride the bike across, while you do the grunt-work? :dontknow:

I see a new product
BAJA RON REAR TIRE HIGHT ADJUSTMENT BAR!
Amaze your friends with this device that raises and lowers the rear wheel 3 feet!
Change your oil without the need for a jack!
go for a really forward riding position!
cross nasty old 40's vintage bridges!
Add the optional spring assembly and flip your Spyder like a toy dog!
BajaRon he's crazy about Spyders!

I like the idea of staying very far to one side and having the rear tire on an inside edge. Extreme pucker factor, but less physical effort.

What did you do?
