There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Out of surgery

To all of my spyderlovers family and friends. I just want to let you all know that I went in the hospital around 8:30 am yesterday morning to have my back surgery done. Everything went really well with no complications! I was released in the early afternoon. My two kids, Son & Daughter were there with me and sat in the waiting patiently for me to be out of surgery, which took less than two hours. I think they were more nervous about the whole surgery than I was. I just remember being given an IV for anesthesia and then woke up from the surgery. My daughter drove me and my son back home in my Hummer, because I wasn't allowed to drive. I was a little sore and tired from the surgery, but I'm feeling fine and in good spirits. I will be out of work for a few weeks to have some recovery time. The hard thing for me will be having to hold back from riding my spyder :( I shouldn't be out of commission too long though. My sciatic pain is actually gone and I'm walking around pretty good. It's the weakness in my left leg and foot that will take some time to heal. That does hinder the shifting some on the SM5, but I'm still able to shift with a little more effort. As I said though, I will not be riding the spyder for a while and give myself time to recover and going to some physical therapy. I expect within a month I'll be recovered enough to be fully back in the saddle again. For now I'm just praying for a full recovery in order to do all the things I enjoy the most, especially riding my motor toys.

YAY!!! Good News!!! Teddy sends lick'ns yur way

:clap:This is GREAT news, and thanks for keeping us updated  Isn't it wonderful how you can be in so much pain before the surgery and when you wake up, that pain is totally gone  :p  Do take it easy, and if I may add a word of caution, be very cautious with the wound and its care. I know from personal experience last year, I had an L5-S1 Laminectomy done and it went very well, that is until half way thru physical therapy it became infected and the doctor had to open it up and go back in  Not fun at all. But in the end, its all SO WORTH IT  You'll have your lyfe back and the joy of enjoying your machines and the Ryde  Teddy & I will keep you in our prayers for continued success :pray: ;)

Great news! Praying for a full recovery. Take it easy for awhile and DO what the doctor orders. Keep us informed of your healing process.

Hope they took good care of you at FAHC. Miss seeing you and your Spyder on the local roads, hope you recover soon!

Good news..!!

is always good to hear. It was great that family stood by and looks like with their help you will be out and about soon. Don't push it..let it heal well..all the best..!! :ohyea:

Glad that your surgery went well. Three years ago I had a C5-C6 herniated neck disc removed and fused as a result I am still walking and riding my spyder.

Thank you all for your kind words! Today is day two and I have more soreness from the wound. I guess when you have a three inch slice in your lower back from surgery the pain will show it's face in that area for a few days. I take my meds as directed and continue with my stretching exercises. Time should help me on my road to recovery.
