There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I've been shooting quite a bit lately and this weekend we take our concealed carry class. I'm excited about it. I am going to qualify for both the revolver and semi automatic and I'll take the Utah and Nevada courses. That also qualifies us for the Florida permit.

Lookout this old broad is packing heat!

:congrats:

I am a North Carolina Concealed Carry instructor. I am always happy to see students excited about their class. Here in NC our permit is good in 33 states.

Indiana Law

Just got my permit to carry, Indiana has no class. So guess I'm good to go:yikes:. Funny thing is day after I get a gun someone steals something off the house. Go figure?:banghead:

I like women that pack heat. shows they are confident!

You have to qualify in both???
Our permits have no designator.

I just read where South Carolina is going to do away with the CC permit. Sounds like they're going to allow carry without the permit.

Texas has a designation for SA (semi-auto) or R (revolver). Qualify with SA and you can carry either one, qualify with R and can only carry revolver. Don't know why it's that way ... but it is.

Been a CHL holder for several years now .... I bet you enjoy the class and the range work too! Let us know how it goes ... Ann:clap:

Glad I will be riding with you :). You can borrow my nail saver loader anytime:):spyder:
Another cross country badass experience :doorag:

Yes, you can use any revolver and be certified on all revolvers same goes for the semi autos. I'm going to use a 22 semi auto and my husband's revolver (Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum) that he uses for competition. I will probably carry grandpa's gun though (a Colt Cobra 38 Special).

I keep waiting to take the course until Illinois decides what they are going to do. My guess is it will be something like the other states plus your first born and 10k. They are going kicking and screaming.

Just got my CC license in the mail yesterday! :ohyea: Actually surprised me because the officer that took my prints seemed to think the backlog would be 4-6 months. Got mine in about 3. Arkansas also requires you declare revolver or semi-auto or both and you have to shoot both. But no separate license process.

I have the CCL in kansas. It doesn't specify revolver or pistol.

When I lived in Georgia, you didn't even have to take a class, though I did. All you had to do was apply and get finger-printed at the sheriff's office and they send you the permit after looking into your background. Wonder if it's still like that there.

Just a quick reminder; although I doubt that it's needed...
Owning and carrying a firearm is a right; but it's a right that carries with it, a tremendous responsibility.
So thanks for taking the courses!:clap:

Now, Joe, it just might hurt my feelings if you stopped giving me a hard time. And you wouldn't want me to cry and not be able to sight in my target, now would you?! ;)

Good for you!! My husband and I got our permits in a couple of weeks ago. My big problem is finding the right holster. My normal winter wear is no problem. Summer time is a different story.

Wow. Here in NC it not specific at all. NC is a very gun friendly state. Open carry is allowed. 8 hr class time plus range and in 3 months you will have permit, if not before. Caliber of the handgun is not specific either. You can carry a .22 revolver or semi-auto does not matter either.
