just booked our room at the Comfort Inn (MO175) in Springfield.
Nicole was the front desk clerk, and the phone was ringing off
the hook when I called. at this rate, they appear to be booking
up FAST.

I registered at the Best Wesatern and they new nothing of the event or special rates. Also registered for the event for myself and friends but they only offer XL Tea shirts. I think this will be a problem. Their is a bunch of us over that size. Last year they offered 2X which worked. Please check this out. Bob

All of your issues are being addressed. I have contacted Best Western and notes have been made. Their manager had not yet had a chance to communicate with others. I have sent email on shirt sizes. If you already registered please send an email to [email protected] and we will make sure it is taken care of.

Riding to Spyderfest as a Group

For people coming from another state, you might check in your "State" forum. Many groups are starting to post there as to their routes, times, days etc. so that others can meet up and ride along. G:2thumbs:reat way to meet up, make friends and start the fun early.

I know that some individuals are concerned for the distance between Springfield and Ozark. So I Mapquested the host hotel, Comfort Inn, to the Ozark Chamber of Commerce office and it is less than 10 miles. So no big deal.

But the fun part of this is I traveled this route with Len and SpyderLady Linda in a "monster truck"!! For those of you who know Linda... her getting in a monster truckroflmao. Enough said but you didn't hear it from me. Unfortunately I think she would have cut off my supply to wine had I posted the video!!!

Can't wait for SpyderFest 2013!! It will be a NEW ADVENTURE!!

Fencepost just cancelled our reservations in Cuba and we are booked in at the Quality Inn with Furkids. According to someone he spoke to this hotel is all refurbished and sounds nice. See ya'll there!
