• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cool

I remember way back in 2008 when there was only yellow and silver ones arrrrrr those were the days

Wow 7,300 members on SPYDERLOVERS that is COOL. So if all the members showed up for Lamonts Barbeque how many lbs. of pork would it take to feed them all.

interesting

i've always thought it was interesting how many visitors are on the site at any given time. when ever i check it, it seems to be three times the number of members. i think there is alot of interest out there. i wonder how many members are still members?:yikes::thumbup:

Wow.

That's quite a few members. That's great. It is by far the best forum I have found. Lamont, you have done a wonderful job and I really appreciate how smoothly the site runs. I also love how kind and considerate the members are. A great bunch of people. Thanks!

Gotta agree

Gotta agree, great website and setup! Great people willing to help and offer advice! Even personal phone calls to help!

I log in once or twice a day - there's always new stuff posted! My wife thinks I'm obsessed.... I think not!

Thanks to all!

Dave

One of the main reason I purchased a Spyder is because of this website. I lurked around for months before buying. That should say alot. Thanks Lamont for all that you do.:2thumbs:

Now if we could get all of them together at one time..............that would be a party:2thumbs:. Anyone think that Cuba Mo. could hold all of them at Spyderfest:dontknow:.

:congrats: Lamont.

Just the opposite for me. I bought my spyder after falling in love with the look of the GS back in 2008. When the RT came out, it forced my hand. THEN i found this site. However, thanks to this site (to which I am highly addicted to) I have made some great online friends and even better, I got to hook up with the MoGang folks and now they couldn't get rid of me if they tried. A finer group of folks cannot be found!! There are still many people on here that I want to meet, but all in good time.

Thank you Lamont for a great site!

So, was the color red a mid-year thing?

If I remember correctly the color red was an early(mid 2008 model year) 2009 limited # release that went with the early 2009 SE5 transmission shift debut. The 2009 model year carried the color red for the whole model year until the end of 2010 model year for both the SE5 and SM5 transmissions. I know if I am wrong someone will correct me:thumbup:

Thanks Lamont Spyder Lovers is the best spyder site
