What is a good insurance company for Spyder? We were shocked at prices and differences. Need inexpensive coverage with good company.

Sadly, I'm gettin raked with my insurance-- both GEICO and Progressive quoted me $900 :yikes:, I ended up sticking with GEICO.
Of course, I think having my first car fender-bender in 22 years less than a month before I got my bike didn't help matters. (I rear-ended at 10 mph a woman who SLAMMED on her brakes on an on-ramp... because she dropped her phone. But yeah, technically, that's MY fault... grrrrr!!).
Anyway... I sure hope that rate comes down for me when I renew.
No, your recent issue shouldn't affect the price...believe it or not. Plus, you'd have accident forgiveness anyway if it was your first issue in 22 years...I have Geico and I'm just up the road from you...I don't know why your premiums are so much, but you should question this...they can't base them on your recent crash...
I can add nothing to this... :thumbup:First of all, :welcome:
The others have you covered pretty well above. There are many things that cause insurance rates to vary from person to person, state to state, etc.
My take on insurance. Cheapest is not always the best. You get what you pay for. The proof of good insurance is when it comes time that you have a claim--do they pay you--or do they try to get out of paying?
I have all my insurance with a local broker--who knows me, and my insurable interests. When I have a problem, I can call him, and it gets taken care of--with no hassles.
