• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderweb USA- Are you game?

It would be interesting to see the route map and its check points of interest, and the time to complete the trip.
There really is no route map and you guys would determine the check points. We would pick a date like the end of the riding season for lets say next year. It's not going to be an butt burner endurance ride, it will be more like the Passport Run in Cuba except all over the country. You could do as little as you like or as much as you like. :doorag:

That is what I find really cool about the idea, plus the fact that it might lead many of us to see parts of our own states that we have never been to.

Great idea, I'm game, also I really think if we get it going we should get everyone's favorite dealers involved. I like a bonus point system for participating dealers visited. I am confident my local dealer Leer's Cycle in waterloo Ia. would participate. Good dealers have taken note by Cowtown's example and want to get involved we should get more good dealers involved. Great idea it would fill days off and weekends (Lets Ryde and Knock out some more of the Web) :2thumbs:

Part of BRP's involvement could be assisting all Platinum Dealers to be sponsors:dontknow::dontknow:

Jim:thumbup:

Great idea.

And maybe someone smarter than me can come up with an App for it so we could auto track where we go. And that could link to BRP as a sponsor. A little techno cross marketing. Phone GPS would autolocate and you could even upload to a cental board to show who has been where and when.

Plus it would be a great way to maybe energize each state to be as close knit and fun as Missoui has been. Every state has cool stuff to see. Even Oklahoma. lol

:2thumbs:

I would like to do more groupd ryding. And this seems like a way to get rydes organized in various locals.

Great idea!! Will these simply be a list of places in a state to be ryden to in a group or by however one gets there?? Awful lot of domain space to be used if all of us are posting pictures of each of ourselves at the various locations. Plus, not all of us have smart phones with GPS and picture capablility. Could one post a link to a photobucket account or something? I'm extremely low tech!!

Yes, you can link to your picture or load it to the site, either way would be fine. No smart phones required but a digital camera pretty much is.

I'm not worried about space, I can bump up if I need to and I hope I do. :D

To volunteer one would have to be non-competive in order for fairness to those who do compete.
I guess that eliminates me as a volunteer.
I think you may be taking this thing a little too serious, this is not like Guts and Glory where there's a $100,000 prize at the end of the deal, you may just get a t-shirt. It's all about the ride and getting out and seeing places you've never been with people you may have not have had the pleasure to ride with.

I trust your numbers Bro. :doorag:
