There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Well it took 5 hours with two people to put on, but man it looks great. The husband will not be hoping on the :spyder2: for a ride anymore. Thank you Peter from spyderdetailing.com, for speical customizing a great wrap.
Nice looking. I'd love to see it a little closer up to make out the pattern better!
I'm wishy washy about what I want to do with mine. I love purple so part of me wants to go purple. But I have this cool jacket and helmet set with a nice pattern on it and I'm tempted to have the Spyder done to match that.

Kytten, Click thekershaw's photo on the left (I think it is called the aviator) and it will take you to her photo album where you can see close ups, and photos of the install.
They are applied to the Spyder the same way you apply window tinting. A few drops of dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle of water to wet the surface area, and then a squeegee or similar item to smooth it out and attempt to remove all of the little bubbles. You should plan on a good 3 hours or so to apply the entire wrap, perhaps longer depending on how many pieces you get. It is not difficult to install, you just need to really take your time doing it in order to get it right.

a couple of the daylight pics of my Spyder. I did it by myself, took a rough total of about 5-6 hours. still want to tweak it a lil with paint and black wheels to complete the look. But step one is done.
Like so often a post from a fellow spyder ryder contains key info some of us lacked before.. I had never heard of spyderdetailing.com but after going to their website I feel it highly likely i will use their product. I love the bright green pinstriping kit for the RT
