My Spyder has a New Skin.

I had been thinking about having my Spyder custom painted for a while now, but did not really want to commit to that. After much searching I found a graphics kit that I really liked and decided to give it a try.

I would like to give credit to Peter at www.spyderdetailing.com as this is one of his designs and I believe it turned out great! He is a great guy to deal with and I will highly recommend him to anyone who may be interested in a graphics package for your own Spyder. :2thumbs:

I am not that good of a photographer and think it actually looks better in person than it does in the pics.

Peter also has 3 photos that he Photoshopped on his web site that are pretty cool. 2 can be found on the Spyder page, and the other is on the Hall of Fame page.

Lamont, if you check out his web site and see what he has done on Sea Doo watercrafts and Ski Doo snowmobiles, it looks like the possibilities are endless. :thumbup:

Great job applying the vinyl - it it trickie even with the 3M controltac. I found that out while applying the carbon fiber vinyl on my Spyder. Took 3 stressful hours!
That is a very unique look - cool!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. It is kind of funny because I have not ridden it with the new graphics on it yet. I keep looking at it and finding it hard to believe it is my Spyder.

No sunglasses, I think those only come with the half naked lady models. :roflblack:

I was thinking about buying your blue powder coated rims on EBay, but they ended up being too light of a blue so I am sticking with the black.

As with everything in life there is no such thing as perfection. There are a few small bubbles and a couple of creases here and there. The details in the design help to hide them some, but you can find them when you get real close to it. I am hoping a day in the sun will cure most of that issue, but we haven't had any decent sunshine here for a week now.
