There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Neat. I see the "pin" version is from 2007. Any updates on that one??

I put 2007 on it because that seems to be the year the first Spyder was released. is it not?

Announced in 2007. Oct/2007 was when I put my order in. It arrived in June 2008. Got the first one sold to a customer in Alaska.
Early talk was that they were going to be limited to certain states and AK was not one of them. Lucky, I bought mine from the largest (as in sold the most) Ski Doo dealer in North America at the time.

What's your intention with all these logos, emblems, or whatever? If you intend to make use of them in a commercial manner in any fashion whatever, you better check out copyright and licensing laws. I imagine BRP won't look favorably on anyone using their "Y" symbol without proper authorization. Don't count on minor tweaks to get around copyrights.
