• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

From the very first time they saw it, my Grandkids have called my 2013 pearl white RT Ltd 'Cody' - cos apparently, it looks like 'Cody, the Robo-Sapien'. But if (like me) you don't often watch kids daytime television, that'll probably be meaningless to you.... It certainly was to me, but once they'd got me sit thru the television show with them, it sorta made sense & I could see how they thought it was similar. :sour:

Buuuut, when it's just the Missus'n me talking about it, we call it 'the Spyder'! :dontknow:

Named it------

Tweety-----------like Tweety bird from the cartoon. My wife named it because of the bright "circuit Yellow" paint.

Kaos

Red Sled. But reading Mister P's, Fat White Chick reminded me of when I had a Ducati, that was like dating an Italian supermodel. Oh, my wife hated that bike.

Name

No Really! Have you or your GF, Wife, Partner or Significant Other for some unknown given your Spyder a "Name?" It seems that my/our Spyder RT now is called "Baby." I didn't know exactly when It received it's name but evidently it was a while ago. When I asked the GF why she always called it that, she said "It Just Fit!" So "Baby" I guess it is!

I simply refer to mine as the MONEY PIT
