• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THANK YOU cuomo

Why in He** do they need to know the details of each and every pistol you own? What does that have to do with whether or not you are a responsible person????

BOVINE EXCRETA!

:agree:

Is this a new law? That's basically a state registry of ownership. I just wouldn't tell them.

Many states are loosening requirements to carry. In Kansas now, as well as neighboring states, you don't need a permit even to carry concealed, let alone openly.

That's EXACTLY what it is

How are New Yorkers to know this
Are they sending letters to holders?

Think it may be time to relocate:yes::yes::yes:

Have any other lucky NY'ers gotten their
Pistol Permit Recertification letter
:banghead::banghead:

My permit says that it's valid until revoked.
I will respond to the ****ers: reminding them of this fact, and telling them that they will have to revoke and re-issue new licenses to EVERY permit-holder

They want to try and bury us with paperwork and fees; perhaps we can at least bury them in paperwork! :gaah:

Bob iagree

yeah Bob I agree. He's a sneaky sumabitch.

Think is dad left the best part of him run down his leg :shemademe_smilie:

I'm surprised you're all surprised at this. You know what you're dealing with in New York (same as we deal with in New Jersey.)

There's a reason the Northeast is hemorrhaging people to other parts of the country. This is just part of it.

This does point to an interesting problem...
Voter turnout in the last Gubernatorial election was about 35%
If we had 55% participation, and the Upstate gun-owners voted in the same percentage: we'd have kicked that ******* to the curb... nojoke
So we can blame ourselves! :banghead:

Bob, while I'd like to believe that, downstate has us outnumbered even if all the 2a supporters voted. Another issue, you can't fathom the amount of " cityits" that have relocated to upstate. And I promise you, you're not going to like who they vote for.

MO. NY is, and always will be a lefty state. Just like it's cousin on the left coast.
