• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which windshield do most people use? I am only interested in OEM products. I'm 5-8, stock handlebars, position 4 on foot pegs.
Thank You

I don't know of an OEM for F3. I think some have used the Blue Ridge but I hear a lot of complants. I use a Madstad and love it!

The stock OEM that comes with the F3-L out here (with the lip), was supposedly designed to reduce back pressure and lift the worst of the wind over your head. It didn't work for me as most of the wind hit me in the chest/head, but I am quite tall. Some are happy with it, some aren't

Which model F3 do you have and which windscreen is currently on it?

F4 28" will work great for you.....they are a site sponsor.....great shield... basically will not scratch... adjustable... works great.

I'm 5'8" and got the tinted version. Over 70 I get some head buffetting, so I added an MRX-A adjustable unit on top of the F4 if I'm going to be on the highway for long periods of time.

Have you checked out the brp accessories catalogue?

For the f3/f3s they offer Route 129 and Blue Ridge screen, plus a gauge spoiler.

Catalogue will tell you what's available for the f3t/f3ltd.

You have to make your own decision, as it depends whether you like to look over or through a windscreen.

Eg blue ridge is no good for me as the top is right at my eye level, but taller husband likes it. We both look over the screen, being old sports bike riders and wearing full face helmets.

The Blue Ridge with the X-Creen tour works for me. But if you're starting out, don't buy those. I got the Blue Ridge when I didn't know better.

After reading all the suggestions, I decided on the 32" F4 windshield and look through it. I can peep over the top if I really stretch up. It has really cut the wind down, so I'll have to see how it is in the hot summers here. Otherwise, it works great and great folks to deal with!!

Just curious why you are only interested in OEM windshields? I've ridden on an F3 with the BRP windshield that has the curve at the top and it is horrible. If you look through it everything is distorted. There are a lot of quality windshield manufacturers that make shields for Spyders and folks seem to like them better than the BRP ones.

2015 F3 S, not using a windshield now.

I've considered aftermarket ones and din't like the look.

It's really hard to help you....

Do do prefer to you look through or over a screen?

If 'over' brp choices are gauge spoiler or route 129

if 'through' the blue ridge may suit.

If if you want a taller one, go aftermarket.

I use raised-up gauge spoiler, husband has blue ridge with xcreen.

we both look 'over' as both wear helmets as is the law here

as well as through or over, wind buffeting affects people very differently...

I use a Madstad and I don't have a problem with it. There are some advantages with that screen. You can adjust the angle and height on the road without tools. The mounting bracket is very solid so I can attach the GPS on it so it is directly in front of me just above the instruments.

The F4 adjusts without tools as well.

Tried the BRP Blue Ridge windshield for my F3-S. Possibly the worst windshield I have ever used, EVER! The buffeting was beyond belief and I am 5'7". Went to a 28" F4 clear windshield and possibly one of the best I have owned. The mounting is secure, tools free adjustable and looks consistent with the design of the F3. Luckily for you, they are having a 15% off sale and free shipping for Turkey Day.

I bought the F4 Custom 21" tinted for my F3T. I love their windshields.

If you already have the Blue ridge windshield then to save money try getting the Xcreen tour to place on top of the BR. I agree with some about the aftermarket ones are ugly and the bracket system for them is even worse looking.

Do not get the OEM Blue Ridge Windshield without trying it first

I am 5' 8" and bought the Blue Ridge windshield and it generated a lot of helmet buffering. Wasted my money! I agree that some of the aftermarket windshields are not the best looking.
