• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ANOTHER ACTIVE SHOOTER

 Does it? :dontknow:
Why don't we let the investigative process run it's course? There was a report that this guy was at the Party, and left after some sort of confrontation...

When you paint everybody with the "same broad brush"; you're bound to make mistakes... nojoke
For the record; I'm just a United Methodist, who's trying to NOT make any assumptions...

First, prayers for the victims and their families.

I agreed, but also disagree. The names of the shooters may give an indication of why they did this.
No it won't undo what they did, but I , as well as many others, are wondering if it's terrorism.
I don't believe it's "the same broad brush".

Manipulation of the facts is the problem.
Why has mass shootings skyrocketed under the current administration?

Why has mass shootings skyrocketed under the current administration?

Why does anyone feel it necessary, to make this sort of correlation stick? :dontknow:
Let's just pray for the victims and their families...:pray:

it's just a shame that we have so many people in this country that see this problem as a gun problem and not what it is really about

The facts are slowly coming forward. But you will all have to decide for yourselves.

The world, and our country are slowly becoming a different place.

I am afraid that political correctness may eventually become one of our downfalls.

The latest I can find on the I-net.

What we know so far:

  • At least 14 people were killed and 21 others injured in a shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif., Wednesday.
  • The couple who killed 14 people and injured 21 others injured in Wednesday's mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif., left 1,400 rounds and three pipe bombs attached to a remote-control device behind at the scene, police say.
  • The suspects — 28-year-old Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik — opened fire inside the facility, which serves people with developmental disabilities, and fled in an SUV they rented earlier this week.
  • They were killed in a massive shootout with police following a high-speed chase through San Bernardino. Police found an additional 1,600 rounds inside the vehicle.
  • Because of the bombs, police had yet to remove all of the bodies from the center, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan told reporters Thursday morning.
  • A motive has yet to be determined, but federal officials have not ruled out terrorism.
  • At the White House, President ***** said the killings were possibly terror-related, but added: "We don't know."
  • The U.S.-born Farook and Malik, who is from Pakistan, met in Saudi Arabia, the FBI said, and returned to the United States, where they were married.
  • During a search of their an apartment in Redlands, Calif., authorities discovered 12 pipe bombs and a cache of weapons.
  • The pair had a six-month-old child who they reportedly dropped off at a relative's home before their rampage.

can you believe they took their baby to the grandmothers house before pulling this off? wow----- I really feel for that kid. nojoke

But I can't help but think:

the N R A and their CONGRESSIONAL PUPPETS,

PROUD SPONSORS OF AMERICAN DOMESTIC TERRORISM

Why is it fault of the NRA or law abiding citizens that own guns for their own protection when this is a couple of "possibly" Muslim extremists
that want nothing more than to terrorize the nation and get their name in the news, I'm sorry that you think that a few nut cases are speaking for me and my right to bear arms, possibly if someone in this building had been carrying a legal firearm they may have been able to stop them before they took so many lives.

I know I'm going to get bashed for this, but thats why I wanted to hear the names.. IMO, theres know doubt it's terrorism.
Maybe theres a chance the kid won't grow up with the same views as the parents had. After all, who knows what the grandparents are like.

I know the area

I used to live about five or so miles from the location of the shooting. My Mother-in-Law knows someone that was there earlier in the day, but had left before this happened. Prayers for everyone involved.

I agree with everything you say except for the 2nd 'Slowly'.

This Statement was released by the Ulster County, and Sullivan County Sherriff's offices...

The statement below is made by Sullivan County Sheriff Michael Schiff in regards to the Facebook Posting made by Ulster County Sheriff Paul Van Blarcum on 12/3/15:

I concur with Ulster County Sheriff Paul Van Blarcum that licensed gun owners should carry their licensed handguns if they feel that they are comfortable and proficient enough to do so. They should also be familiar with State and local laws that govern firearms and the use of deadly physical force.

I also join Sheriff Van Blarcum in urging off duty police/peace officers and qualified retired law enforcement personnel to carry their firearms as well.

The police cannot be everywhere. The second amendment and the laws of New York State give citizens the tools to defend themselves and their families from harm, until law enforcement can arrive on the scene.

Given the recent attacks in our country and abroad, citizens should be aware of their surroundings, exercise vigilance and not be afraid to report any suspicious activity.

If you see something, say something.

'Nuff said!
