I bought this F3T new in June 2018. I got a great deal and couldn't be happier with her. Based on SL input, I added a few accessories from the start; Anti-sway bar, running boards, back rests, belt tensioner, and rock guard. Later for my first vacation road trip, I added a luggage rack and top case.

Mostly doing 2-up rydes (80%) on backcountry roads, looking for new, interesting, out-of-the-way places to see, stop for lunch, enjoy the day. Loads of fun. Just two carefree oldsters in our late 70's having a ball. Don't want it to stop; as long as Spyder is willing/able to roll, we'll go. Sometimes we take along "Ladybug", our Fibro-tec trailer.

After the BRP heat recall, the 2013 RT became the best of the pre-1330 RT models. It was sort of a "hybrid" model between the two engine types. The 2013 has the floor boards, beefier brakes and shocks, etc. of the 2014 model, yet retains the original award-winning 998 cc Rotax high-RPM V-twin engine that is so torquey and SO much fun to ride. My trike is stock, other than pin striping. I've had the brake lever replaced to fix a known problem and have installed a belt guard. I added a pigtail for a trickle charger. I love my Spyder, It is my main ride, I ride year around here in Southern Oregon+. About the only time I don't ride is if there is snow/ice or hard rain.
