    Default I'm stuck frunk removal

Thy to remove the frunk from my 2014 RTS. I've got all of the covers off and found the 4 bolts on top and remove all of the torx on the under side. Can't figure out what I'm missing. The only video I found is for a different version

Two on the bottom look like plastic tabs with bolts thru them by the black frame cross member and the 3- 4 bolts on the top.

Don't forget the lighting connections too will have to be undone.

No torx to remove on underside.

....... OK the ones on the underside ( bottom ) are the ones closest to the frame ...they are the BOLTS ..not the NUTS ...and they are 10mm..........You also have to take off both lower side panels ...the ones that POP-OFF ( they have the large grills and Can-Am logo ) ..... Now you will see how the upper WINGS of the Frunk attach at the top just BELOW the mirrors with 30mm Torx bolts .................I've taken mine off so many times, once it's up on ramps I can do it in 10 minutes or less ....................good luck............Mike

I guess I didn't take enough plastic off. Does the panel around the fog lights and the lower panel with the grills have to come off.

2015 model RT has the air intake which needs the hose clamp loosened. It is on the left side kind-of below the mirror and you need to loosen a hose clamp so the intake cowling and boot can slip off.

Note how it slips off...I had a little trouble getting the rubber boot back on the pipe and situated.

.........Sorry I completely forgot about the Air Intake ...... that's because I re-moved mine and haven't had to deal with for two years ........ Think about cutting the upper end off the plastic and just leave the ELBOE on the BOX ....the engine can breath better .......Mike

Not necessary to remove the Frunk to install fog lamp bulbs.

I have had frunks off many times and I've always removed / installed them by myself. Just make sure to double check that all the wire connectors that you disconnected are on top side of the frunk before bolting it down!

Because I do a lot of Modding , I have had mine off at least a hundred times ….. because I don't connect the Air Intake ( I don't have one ) and the two very center Torx bolts don't get put back anymore, I can do it in about 10 to 15 minutes …… repetition makes doing it fairly easy …. understand that what actually holds the Entire weight of the frunk are the two metal clips on the firewall, that you HANG the large plastic protrusions onto ….. all those extra bolts just keep the Frunk from bouncing off the meatl clips …… Mike
