Why Does My 600 Sound Like A Two-Stroke?
At steady moderate speeds, say at 40 MPH, and whilst decelerating from a variety of speeds, engine or transmission is NOT smooth, and sounds like a two-stroke engine! (rat-tat-tat-tat)
Anyone else notice this phenomenon?

It is a vertical twin connected to a CVT which doesn't disengage. You are probably just hearing the sound of engine braking and some lean popping.

I started out with premium (because I thought it needed it by mistake), and was the same.
