Any exhaust leaks will enhance the popping. You shouldn't get that much indigestion from just adding a Hindle...unless perhaps if you were in a very hot climate or at a real high elevation. One other thing you might do is look into the right vent up front (where the foglights mount), and see if the APPTS sensor is properly installed there. If you can see it, it's OK (unless the foam cover is missing). Some have been left tied to the frame when the Spyder was prepped.
