Bluetooth on the cheap
Has anyone tried or worked up an "ther than BRP" Blue tooth adapter to run Radio/etc to headsets?
Been looking around... the BRP adapter seems a little steap...
thanks

Not me
I just don't see the need. I know that is just me. I don't listen to the radio. I listen to my wife and when she isn't talking I am listening to one of 150000 songs on my phone. We use a Blue tooth headset that pairs with all the important stuff like GPS, Phone, WIFE and that he s it. Total cost about $250.00 plus the helmets that we have to have anyway. The only thing I would listen to on the radio is a SF Gaints Game, and I can get the scores on my phone. Love to be away from the constant commercials on the radio!

We do commercial free Pandora $3.99 a month and have programmed it so that it plays all our favorites. We use a $30 BT connector through the audio port or use it with our Sena 10 when we wear our helmets.

Do you by chance have a link for the bluetooth connector? Wife likea Iheart radio and I think this might be a way for her to listen to it through the spyder.

I am going to buy a second one for really long trips. A full charge will last 7-9 hours, but if you are on the bike longer it will run out of power. I can have one charging while we use the other.
It would be great if you could find one that worked while charging, but these do not.

All of your answers I do not believe answered his question except for the MC Dave link.
The other adapters you all showed are to connect your phone to your radio via Bluetooth or directly to the helmet. It won't pump anything the radio plays to your helmet!
He is asking for a cheaper alternative to the BRP Bluetooth device that goes the other way. Take anything your spyder radio would put out to your speaker and send it to your helmet.
Motorcycle Dave sells the SENA SM10 (same one BRP uses) and a cable to hook it to the radio.

That's what I would like to find. An inexpensive way to blue tooth my radio to my helmet. My radio is not BT.

I've been happy listening to Pandora with my LG bluetooth headset.
The earbuds are small and easily fit under my helmet and block out most of the road noise.
