Very nice roads in the area. It is a pretty long ride, but I think we might go as part of a day trip up to meet everyone and ride some.

I hope you are being facetious with that. It's only 300 miles.

What’s the temps like around April 1st down there? We usually still have snow up here. Probably won't this year unless Mother Nature decides that “Hey, you have had the least amount of snow ever recorded in history this year, I’m going to average you out and pull an April Fools joke to make all you skiers and snowmobilers feel better! Oya snowmobile season is done April 1st? Too bad sucker!” Thinking of putting my Spyder in my snowmobile trailer and taking it to lower Ohio area or so. Leave truck and trailer and ride the Spyder down. We will still have road salt and grime up here unless it gets out of these 30’s and 40’s. Just curious what the weather is like early April?

Trying to figure out a nice run up the Natchez Trace and then some backroads over to Greeneville. Maybe a campsite or two along the way.

What I mean by it being a long ride, is that I would log on probably 800 miles in that day. You say only 300 miles, but that is one way. So if I do 300 miles each way, and ride about 150-200 miles while I am there, that is about 750-800 miles. To me, yes, that is a long day.
BTW, do you do many 750-800 mile days? If you do, congratulations. But for me, that doesn't happen too often. Typically a good day trip is 500-600 miles.

I live about 45 miles from Ron's shop(north) it was 68 here today. Next two days in the 70's.
People are starting to mow grass here already and we usually have to turn the air about 3rd week in March.
Hard to predict the weather in East Tenn anytime, but the rally should be a good one.
My wife and I are staying at least a couple nights..if she doesn't miss her dogs too much ..we are looking forward to it.
I have had Daniel..Ron's mechanic..do some work on both our bikes. he is good, fair and honest.
    Thanks

Would like to go but it's too early in the year for us, weather wise. Definitely planning a trip out there in the early Fall though.

Baja Ron and Daniel and their team had a great rally. Great turn out, good weather and some great riding.
The Poker Run had some great stops and good riding roads in between stops.
I am sure next years will be bigger and better.
Thanks to Ron and Daniel and the team for all the hard work to make this happen.
Thank you very much it was fun!!

I really wish I had been able to make this. My plan was to head up Saturday morning early and make it a day trip. But the forecast was looking very dismal at best. So we decided to sat this one out. We definitely plan on making this next year.

We had a great time meeting everyone! It was great having Lamont (Lamonster) & Harvey (SpyderPops) here. I even got them to work on some Spyders with me! Visions of the early days.

It rained when it didn't matter and the sun came out when it did. I know the forecast scared some off. But it really turned out fine. Windy for the poker run. But the people who got sway bars were impressed.

Thank you EVERYONE! You are what made it worthwhile!
