    Default Aluminum shavings in oil pan

    Changed oil yesterday had an extreme amount of aluminum shavings in oil pan , engine sounds great clutches don't slip, have 14,134 miles on bike , the shop changed the oil at 10,000 miles when they replaced the clutch cover gasket ..guess I'll send to shop get it tore down to find the problem..

    At this point in time; the oil should be free of any sort of "Chunky Stuff"...

    Which engine, 998 or 1300?

    It's the 998 I will trailer it to the dealer tomorrow so they can check the damages ..

    No didn't take any but I do have the filters and some large shavings in a zip lock for them to look at ..
