Thank you everyone for the advice! Great information here. Ideally, I am looking for a 2014 RT in the range of $20,000 or less.

You can purchase a 2014 RT basic and add your special touch.

Absolutely. I've got a 2014 RT LTD and it's terrific.

Agreed, and there are significant upgrades in the 13 over the 12. Now if BRP's fixes actually do.....I hope so. At this point, other than the fuel smell that remains, I really like my 13.
I also agree. Other than the heat issue, I've had no complaints with mine, and there are indeed improvements over the 2012's - mostly in the front end suspension, but also the floorboards, and better brakes.
I've already gotten rid of most of the heat, and if the recall makes it even better, I'll be extremely happy with it. If that happens, and you can pick up a 2013 RT for a bargain price that offsets the devaluation, I'd certainly be tempted to go for that option over a 2012 model. OTOH, if money is not an issue, then I agree that the 2014/2015 is the way to go.
Good luck with your search, and by the way, I ALSO live in northern Montgomery County. Send me a PM if I can be of any help.
