    Default What would you do?

    Hi Everyone!
In April of this year, I will be attending HD Officer training in Providence RI. It's a nice little scoot from me, about 6o miles. I've been trying to convince my friend who is also going to ryde her Spyder there. Nah, we'll take a car instead she says. I say, it, let's ryde there and show our GOS (Girls on Spyders) and Spyder pride!! What do you think?

60 miles is a ways if she isn't comfortable on the bike.

How about taking her for a few rides before that...say one about 30 miles...one about 45 miles, etc...then say....its just a little further for the April ride?

    Work her up to it?

    Default Ryde?

Oh, she's comfortable for the distance and highway, I just think she feels we wouldn't fit in....;-)

If you don't fit in... There is something wrong with THEM!

Don't throw your life under the bus because someone else might not like the way you're living it.

I'd take the Spyders. It will either be cookies and cream, or you'll have an opportunity to make Lemonade out of it! Either way, you win!

I advise a low profile approach. If you get invited into that group then great! If not, enjoy the scenery without them...

Like someone said; 'If you're not living on the edge... You're taking up too much room!

I commuted 25 miles each way for 11 years when I was working. In summer, I always rode the motorcycle that I owned. When I got my first (2008) it was then all until I retired in 2011.

Rain or shine, I did the commute. My cars were hardly driven, maybe three to five times all summer. My 2014 Subaru purchased new in June of 2013 just turned over 7,000 miles. Can't say that for the 's.

Go for the commute on the Spyder. You might as well start and end each day with a great ride.

As long as you're not doing something you wouldn't want mom to read about in the newspaper who gives a rat's rump about what other people think. Get on those Spyders -- 60 miles is just warming up!

    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
