PROBLEM WITH LUGGAGE COMP. DOOR ON MY 2014
The other day I put an item in the left compartment. The door would not latch. At first I thought something might be in the way. Nope. Got it closed and went on my way. Upon further inspection later, I discovered that the one hinge is completely broken. Thanks to the safety cord and piston the door will not come off and I can get it latched with some finagling. Haven't called the dealer yet. I don't know what they can do about it anyway. It is a stupid plastic part that the hinge rides on. I have no idea how it could have broken. Weird.

This repair should be covered under the warranty.

hinge
See SpyderAnn's thread on that. It is a poor design, and needlessly weak. It is a warrantied item. If enough get repaired on BRP's dime, they will make it stronger. (I Hope!)

I hope they'll (BRP) will give you a new compartment. Good luck and just keep bugging them.

Get it fixed under warranty. The more fixes that are performed, the more attention the bad parts get. The engine moves, but sometimes more slowly than we prefer.
For what they cost...(you fill in the blanks).
